These cannot be switched off because the shop stops working without them.
- Basket and session — remembers what you added and keeps you attached to the right basket through checkout. Set by WooCommerce, expires when your session ends or after 2 days.
- Cookie preference — records which optional cookies you agreed to, so we do not ask again. Expires after 12 months.
- Security — protects checkout forms against cross-site request forgery. Session only.
Optional cookies
These are only set after you agree. If you decline, none are placed.
- Analytics — aggregate counts of pages viewed, so we know which products get looked at. Not used to identify you.
- Marketing — measures whether an advert led to a visit. We do not currently run advertising, so in practice these are not set.
Controlling cookies
Use the cookie preference panel on this site to change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — but blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the basket and checkout from working.
Third parties
Our payment provider sets its own cookies during checkout to process the transaction and prevent fraud. Those are governed by that provider’s policy, not ours.
